Services
Learn more about our services
We offer a comprehensive range of services for companies and self-employed persons / freelancers:
Intra-year services
During the financial year, we prepare your current financial accounting, including the periodic VAT advance returns. We provide you on a regular basis with accounting analyses so that you are well-informed about your income and expense situation and are in the position to align your business management decisions accordingly.
Year-end services
At the end of the financial year, we prepare your annual financial statements in accordance with Luxembourg or German accounting regulations. For freelancers and small businesses who are not obliged to prepare annual financial statements, we prepare the cash-basis accounting for tax purposes in accordance with the provisions of § 4 (3) EStG (Germany) and Art. 18 (3) LIR (Luxembourg).
Preparation of business tax returns
Furthermore, we prepare all yearly business tax returns for you. These include, in particular, corporate income tax and municipal business tax returns, declarations for the separate and uniform tax assessment of income, annual value added tax returns and, for Luxembourg, also net worth tax declarations. If required, we also prepare withholding tax returns, e.g. withholding tax returns on income from capital or declarations of the withholding tax on directors’ fees. Moreover, we will apply for so-called tax credits (“bonification d’impôt”), for example tax credits for investments, as part of the preparation of Luxembourg tax returns.
We review the tax assessments upon receipt and file tax appeals on your behalf, if necessary.
Ongoing consulting services
We are also happy to support companies and self-employed persons / freelancers with business management advice and tax planning advice.
We advise employers with cross-border employees regarding the related tax and social security obligations in Luxembourg and Germany and support them in fulfilling these obligations.
Moreover, employers in the border region Germany – Luxembourg are increasingly facing the necessity to compensate their employees for tax disadvantages resulting from cross-border employment or secondment. In this context, we support employers by preparing tax protection and tax equalisation compensation calculations.
Tax advice for shareholders and managing directors
We are also happy to support the shareholders or managing directors of the companies in fulfilling their tax obligations, for example by preparing their private income tax returns or by providing individual tax advice.
